Welcome to Often Off Topic! I’m Allie, a self-diagnosed geek with a passion for movies, TV, games (of the video and board variety) and reading. I’ve been blogging for a few years now, solely about movies, but I’ve come to find a real passion for blogging and I needed an outlet to share all of my hobbies.
The thing is, I never studied film, or the written language. This is purely a hobby of mine, and so I tend to write the way I would talk, and I have a terrible habit of wandering off topic. I might be trying to introduce a movie review, but spend a whole paragraph explaining something funny that happened in the cinema. Hence this blog’s name, Often Off Topic!
So whilst I can’t promise well planned, professionally executed blog posts, I can promise a fun insight into the world of me, and the things I love!
